Noel Ellis was cheated.  Scion of legendary reggae-soul artist Alton Ellis, this debut, dub-friendly, 1983 album was recorded at Toronto's influential Summer Records and, promptly, fell off the map.  (In truth, it only sold a bit in the UK).  With inimitable help from toaster Willi "Armagideon Time" Willis and Jackie "Ghetto Organ" Mittoo, Noel Ellis beams with minimalist, bare-bones production (not a hallmark of most dub), irie lyrics and Rasta vibrations.  (The original fetches £125 on Discogs).  Jah love, Jah love, protect us.
